Military Parole in Place

Military Parole in Place (“PIP”) allows some family members of active-duty military or veterans to apply for adjustment of status even if they entered the United States without a visa.  With a successful PIP application, you can avoid the need to file a waiver for unlawful presence and can submit a green card application without having to leave the United States.  However, military PIP is not automatic.  It requires, among other things, a showing of hardship to the military member or veteran and proof of the immigrant’s good moral character.

At Lester Law, we have years of experience in military PIP applications.  Martin Lester served as Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s National Military Committee and has spoken on military immigration issues at AILA national conferences.  If you are a servicemember or veteran, and you believe military PIP might help your family member’s immigration, we’d like to talk with you.  Schedule a consultation today.
