The Lester Law Team
Martin W. Lester is a graduate of Yale Law School where he served as Senior Editor of the Yale Law Journal and Executive Editor of the Yale Law Journal of International Law. Martin studied International Relations at Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
Martin represents individuals, families, and businesses in immigration matters, including family-based visa petitions, visa applications for entrepreneurs and skilled workers, and permanent resident applications for highly skilled individuals.
Martin is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) where he served in Chapter and National leadership positions. Martin recently served two terms as Chair of the AILA Military Assistance Program (MAP) Committee where he helped lead a nationally recognized program that matched qualifying Armed Forces members with pro bono immigration attorneys. Martin is a former President of the International Business Council (Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce), a member of the Chattanooga Chamber’s Public Policy Committee, and the former Board Chair of Bridge Refugee Services.
Martin will be a speaker at the AILA 2021 National Conference. He has previously spoken at two AILA National Conferences and at the Central Florida Chapter and Mid-South Chapter conferences.
Lori Lester received her Bachelor of Psychology from George Mason University and her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. In the past, Lori worked tirelessly as a domestic violence and child abuse advocate. In her current position, Lori is responsible for the administrative functioning and financial viability of Lester Law. Lori also uses her social work experience and skills with clients seeking humanitarian relief through U Visas, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions, and hardship waivers.
Lindsay was born in Fredericksburg, VA. Lindsay lived in the Northern Virginia area until moving to Fort Walton Beach, FL with her family. Lindsay graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 2014 and relocated to Chattanooga after she graduated. In 2013, Lindsay joined Lester Law as a part-time administrative clerk and was promoted to a full-time administrative/bookkeeping assistant in January 2020. Lindsay is passionate about Asian languages and cultures and studied the Chinese language for two years. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys reading, cooking, and photography.
